I’m grateful to my colleagues on the California Community College Board of Governors for meeting at San Bernardino Valley College over the last two days. A major highlight of our work was the Proposed Regulatory Action on Burden-Free Access to Instructional Materials 📚, a critical step toward reducing costs for students and ensuring equitable access to education.Additionally, the Board passed a Resolution Declaring Support for the K-14 Education Facilities Bond (Proposition 2) 🏫, which will provide essential funding to improve and modernize educational facilities across the state, directly benefiting our students and communities.Congratulations to Hildegarde Aguinaldo and Bill Rawlings for their nominations as BOG President and Vice President! 👏🎉
